Preliminary information
On October 8, 2026, about 1400 central daylight time, a Mooney M20F airplane, N9068V, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Anderson, Indiana. The pilot was not injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 flight test.
The pilot reported that the purpose of the flight was to conduct a post-maintenance test flight. Shortly after takeoff, the pilot observed a pronounced left rolling tendency, and he decided to return to land at the airport.
