Ultramagic aircraft in the FAA registry
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) lists 73 registered aircraft under the manufacturer name "ULTRAMAGIC SA." These registrations represent 17 distinct models, with 72 valid registrations recorded in the database as of 2026-10-16. Ultramagic is a manufacturer of hot air balloons based at the Igualada-Òdena Aerodrome in the province of Barcelona, Catalonia. It is the only balloon manufacturer in Spain and the second largest in the world.
The fleet consists mainly of balloons. Sixty-four of the registered aircraft fall under the standard airworthiness class. Most of these aircraft were built between 2000 and 2026, with half of them built in 2019 or earlier. California holds the highest number of registrations with 16 aircraft, followed by Arizona with 14, and Texas with 10.
The most registered model is the N-300, with 18 aircraft on file. These were built between 2013 and 2024 and have a capacity of one seat. The N-210 follows with nine aircraft, built between 2008 and 2026. The T210 has seven registrations, while the M-56C and M-130 each have six and five, respectively. The M-60Z model has five registered aircraft, built between 2024 and 2026.
Type certificate data sheets (TCDS) provide the technical specifications for these models. TCDS B02CE, held by Ultramagic S.A., covers the N-210, T210, M-56C, and M-130 models. Each registered aircraft has a unique N-number record, and each model has its own page with specifications and the type certificate data sheet.
